Try it
The auto tactician tacks when it gets a header. Press TACK yourself and it waits 45 seconds before taking over again. Drag the map to move it. Speed it up with 5× to 20×.
On the phone: ping PIN, press NEXT, then WIND CHECK to see which end of the line is favoured. Press START: the simulated boat first sails away from the line while TURN IN counts down to when it must turn back. Then BURN, HOLD or GO on the way in, with the seconds early or late. The countdown runs 5× fast until the last 45 seconds. Turn on sound for the beeps.

How to read it
The meter compares your course now with your average on the last tack. Green is a lift, orange a header.
The track: green dashes are lifts, orange dots are headers, grey is neutral.
Laylines from the mark. They follow your course, so they move when the wind shifts. The one you're sailing towards is brighter.
The thin white line: your course if you tack now.
4:46
Time to the layline on this tack. The small ring on the map shows where you reach it.
LIFTED
After each tack a ring fills while the new tack is measured. Then a card shows whether you were lifted or headed, and whether you're faster or slower.
