ShiftSail is a racing tactics app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. It tells the tactician when to start, whether the boat is lifted or headed, and when to tack, using only the phone's GPS.
ShiftSail is a racing tactics app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, developed in Sweden. It gives the tactician three answers at a glance: when to start, whether the boat is lifted or headed, and when to tack. After the race it measures every tack and lets sailors replay and analyse the race. ShiftSail works with the phone's own GPS, needs no instruments or account, and is built to be used with gloves on, in spray, in a split second. ShiftSail is made by Medcontent AB in Stockholm.
